Dr. Sandra G. Smith, Ed.D., MA., B.ScN., RN., JP    

​Professional Profile 

A retired Registered Nurse and health care planner, Dr. Smith holds a Bachelors of Science degree in Nursing, along with a Master of Arts degree in Library and Information Science, and a Doctor of Education degree with double majors in Organizational Leadership and Human Services Administration from Nova Southeastern University.  She is an Ordained Minister and a Certified John Maxwell Coach and Trainer.  Her research area is in Organizational Citizenship Behavior; what makes employees go above and beyond, or go the extra mile within organizations.

Dr. Smith was appointed as President  in April 2018, and have been an integral part of the development team for Curriculum development and MOU Negotiations.  She is a Founding Member of the Institute Board and a signatory to the Charter.  Dr Smith has extensive experience in Public Policy development and formulation, and will add significant value as she leads the  academic pursuit of the Institute.

She obtained an Associate degree  in Psychology from College of The Bahamas in 1987 &   a Bachelors degree from McGill University in 1991.   During her 12 year teaching career, she was Commended For High Performance by the Bahamas' Ministry of Education in 1994 and 1996, because her Student received highest grade at BJC Social Studies in 1996.  Dione has been an invaluable member  of the team for the establishment of the Institute and has led the Curriculum Development team of the Josiah  Institute Courses and Modules.  She is a Founding Member of the Institute Board and a signatory to the Charter,  and was appointed as VP for Academic Affairs in June 2018.   ​

She is an Apostle, Prophet, Teacher, Evangelist, Pastor, Worship Leader; Nation Builder; Health, Wealth and Life Coach; Entrepreneur; former Prison Reform Commissioner, and Justice of the Peace.  
​
Dr. Glinton is a student of the Word with the Philosophy that learning is a continuing life career.   Dr.  Glinton  has been an integral part of the Mobilization team, and is a founding member of the Board and a signatory to the Charter.

​Mrs. Willamae Hamilton-Stuart

Professional Profile 
Mrs. Stuart became one of the first 30 Nurse Leaders in the world to be Trained and Certified as a “Leadership Development Trainer” for the International Council of Nurses, Genève, Switzerland.  She qualified as a State Registered Nurse in Poole Dorset England and as a Stare Certified Midwife in Glasgow, Scotland.  For more than 40 years, Mrs. Stuart taught Nurses mainly in the Specialist Training and Education Programs for Community Health Nursing, Midwifery and the Registered Nurse Training Programme in The Bahamas.   Willamae has been a integral part of the planning team for Curriculum development and the establishment of the Institute.  She is a member of the Founding board, and a signatory to the Institute's Charter.
